Ravidas deployed a pre-built weekly Sensex options bundle on StrykeX on 22 Sep 2026. His first live days ended in a loss, the next week was strongly positive, and a second dip came in October. This is his account day by day, read from his own P&L screens. It is one client's result, not a promise.
Who is Ravidas, and what did he deploy?
Ravidas is a StrykeX client. On 22 Sep 2026 at 9:30 AM he deployed a pre-built strategy called Sensex Momentum Blast Options Bundle Weekly. His Deployed Algos screen shows it as a Live, Bundled algo.
By 15 Oct 2026, that screen showed a cumulative P&L of +₹81,950.00. The rest of this story shows how that number was built, day by day. Every figure below comes from his StrykeX screens. We have added nothing to them.

How did September go, from a first-day loss to a green month?
Here is the September table from Ravidas's account, exactly as the screen shows it.
The first row is two trades on 8 Sep worth −₹0.02. They came two weeks before the algo was deployed and hardly move the totals. The live story starts on 23 Sep.
The first live day was a loss. On 23 Sep the account lost ₹4,717.00 across 3 trades. After charges, the loss was ₹4,825.99. The next day made ₹470.00 back. So the first two live days ended ₹4,247.00 down before charges. This is the kind of start that makes many new users doubt a strategy.
Then the account turned. 28 Sep closed flat before charges. On 29 Sep a single trade made ₹27,878.00. On 30 Sep the account gave back ₹3,743.00. September ended in profit: ₹19,887.98 overall and ₹19,341.34 after charges, from 13 trades.

What happened in October?
This is the October table, exactly as the screen shows it. It covers trades up to 15 Oct 2026.
October opened with the strongest day in the account. 1 Oct made ₹33,386.00 from one trade. Together with 29 Sep, those two single-trade days made ₹61,264.00.
Then came the hard part. 5 Oct lost ₹9,480.00 over 4 trades. 7 Oct lost ₹15,318.00 over 5 trades, the biggest losing day on the screens. From the 1 Oct high, the account was ₹24,798.00 lower in two trading days, before charges.
The recovery was quick. 8 Oct made ₹12,006.00. Then 12, 13 and 15 Oct made ₹11,428.00, ₹14,388.00 and ₹15,652.00. The account passed its 1 Oct high on 13 Oct. The algo stayed Live through both red phases.
The calendar view shows the same month in colour. 5 and 7 Oct are red. 1, 8, 12, 13 and 15 Oct are green. The screen counts 5 of 7 traded days as profitable. This is the October summary below it.
What does the full financial-year view show?
The Yearly view adds September and October together for FY 2026-27. The screen shows Ravidas as profitable in 2 of 2 traded months.
Charges were ₹959.89, about 1.2% of the overall P&L. The screen notes that charges include GST, Securities Transaction Tax, SEBI fees, exchange transaction charges, stamp duty and other charges set by government, statutory and regulatory bodies. Small one-paisa differences between screens, such as October net P&L of ₹61,088.73 here and ₹61,088.74 in the monthly summary, come from rounding.

What does Ravidas's journey tell a new algo trader?
This is our reading of the numbers, not Ravidas's words.
- Early losses happen. The first live day lost money. A day or two says little about a strategy.
- Results can come from a few days. The biggest gains came on two single-trade days. Nobody knows in advance which days those will be.
- Dips can be sharp. The account gave back ₹24,798.00 in two days. Your position size and loss limits decide whether you could sit through that.
- The algo stayed live. The screens show it Live through both red phases, and trades on the next trading day after each one.
It does not show that this will repeat. It is one account, one strategy bundle and 12 live trading days. The capital and position size are not on the screens, so we show no percentage return. SEBI's FY26 study found that 87.7% of individual F&O traders had net losses. Many clients will have a different month, and some will lose money.

What should you do before your first live week on StrykeX?
Test first, then go live small. These steps apply to any strategy.
- Backtest the strategy over more than one period in the Backtest Terminal, which includes unlimited backtest credits. Read each result as a simulation.
- Run it in Forward Test on live market data without real capital, and watch how it behaves in a fast market.
- Write down your maximum loss for a day and for a week before you deploy. Stopping at a limit you set in advance is a plan, not a failure.
- Choose a position size you could hold through a dip like 5 to 7 Oct without wanting to stop.
- In the first weeks, compare each order with your broker's tradebook. This is also how you check any complaint fairly.
- Read the current plan and price and the refund terms before you pay.

Frequently asked questions
What was Ravidas's first month on StrykeX like?
Mixed. He deployed a pre-built weekly Sensex options bundle on 22 Sep 2026. The first live days were red, the next week was green, a second dip came on 5 and 7 Oct, and the account made a new high on 13 Oct. Figures run to 15 Oct 2026.
How much did Ravidas make on StrykeX?
His FY 2026-27 screen shows overall P&L of ₹81,949.98 and net P&L of ₹80,430.07 after ₹959.89 charges, from 30 trades, up to 15 Oct 2026. This is one account and is not typical.
Is it normal to lose money in the first week of algo trading?
It can happen. Markets move fast and every strategy has losing days. A first-week loss alone does not show that a strategy or platform failed. Check each order against your broker's tradebook and your own rules.
Should I stop an algo after a few losing days?
No rule fits everyone. Decide your maximum daily and weekly loss before you go live. If you reach that limit, stopping is part of the plan. If you have not, ask whether you are reacting to fear or to your rules.
Are these results typical for StrykeX clients?
No. This is one client's account over 12 live trading days with one strategy bundle. Results differ by strategy, capital, position size and market conditions. Some clients lose money.
How can I test a strategy before risking capital?
Use the Backtest Terminal to test over several periods, then Forward Test to run the strategy on live market data without real capital. Both are part of StrykeX.
